Full Restoration Project for Klätterverket – Sickla (2025/2026)
When Klätterverket Sickla reached out to us about their old volumes, We knew straight away this was going to be a proper rebuild — not just a touch-up. These pieces had been in use for 10–15 years. More than 50 volumes, all heavily worn, some damaged, many with texture long gone from thousands of climbs.
Replacing them would have been the easy option. But we´ve always believed that well-built volumes deserve a second life — if you’re willing to put in the work.
Getting Hands-On
Every single volume came through our workshop.
We inspected them one by one, repairing cracks, reinforcing weak areas, rebuilding damaged edges, and making sure the structure was solid again. No shortcuts. If something felt questionable, it was fixed properly.
Once the structure was sound, We stripped and prepped the surfaces for a completely new finish.
A Fresh Matte DualTex Surface
The new matte DualTex coating transformed them.
The friction is back. The contrast between smooth and textured areas gives setters more options. And visually, the deep matte black creates a sharp, modern expression that fits perfectly in the space.
To finish it off, We added a custom Klätterverket logo — clean and integrated into the design.
More Than a Repair
This wasn’t just a restoration. It was an upgrade.
Over 50 volumes went back to the wall stronger, sharper, and ready for many more years of use. Seeing them installed again — looking brand new but carrying their history — is always one of the most rewarding parts of the process.
We care about the details. We care about durability. We care about sustainability.
That’s how we work.
